“I want to be your soulmate even if I don’t believe in them.” – Colleen Hoover
Many individuals believe in soulmates. That one true love that the universe wants you to be connected to. Some believe that everybody has one while others believe that we have many soulmates over a lifetime. No one really knows for sure, it seems as though it may differ from person to person. There are some people who feel lonely, so they immediately rule out the idea of soulmates. Soulmates can be a lover, a friend, or simply someone that we are connected with spiritually. Whether you believe in them or not, making room for love instead of hate is always the better option. Here are some signs that you have met your soulmate.
“You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.” – Dr. Seuss
One way that you know you have found your soulmate is when you have the ability to communicate with one another without saying a word. You also know deep within your heart and soul that this person is the one. You feel it in your gut, throughout your entire body. You and your soulmate may have an amazing physical connection, being able to feel comfortable with one another at any given time, expressing love on a whole new level.
Another truly amazing thing about finding your soulmate is that you understand that there are difficult times but are able to challenge one another without feeling threatened. You may find it hard to stay on the same page about every little thing, but your minds are like one on the matters that count the most. Your partner can be themselves and so can you, but you face the world together, as one unit. It is a beautiful experience.
Many times soulmates do not connect in that way until after they have known each other for a very long time. You may have known each other since childhood, but discovered each other later on in life when you both were ready for love and commitment. I believe that is truly what being a soulmate is about. Being able to connect with one another at the right time. When both of you are ready to take that journey together, as if the universe wants you to be as one and love as one.
“To hate everything is to be wounded by everything.” – Marty Rubin
Many times people try to hold on to hate and bitterness when all it does is closes you off to love. So there are times when soulmates will be judged by hate and not by love. Those individuals must learn to let go of their hate and let the love inside. That is when you will be able to understand the true meaning of a soulmate and finally start to believe.
